Calcium D-Glucarate

Calcium D-Glucarate is a supplement where calcium is combined with D-glucaric acid. This acid is naturally found in small amounts in the human body and is also present in various plant foods like broccoli, cabbage, kale, apples, oranges, and grapefruit. Studies suggest that derivatives of D-glucaric acid, such as calcium D-glucarate, help the body naturally get rid of toxins and excess steroid hormones.* Unlike glucaric acid, calcium D-glucarate is available as a supplement. Taking it orally provides the body with a consistent and gradual-release source of its active form, D-glucaro-1,4-lactone.
